So, I have some crazy bright orange jeans. Orange always make me think of summertime and swimming. Should be blue that makes one think of pools and beaches, but for me it's orange. It has been a terrible winter, but I really think these pants may have ushered in spring, because we've had warm days in the Kans-ass Midwest since I wore them. I don't think it's a coincidence.
Where did these lucky pants come from? Well, one Sunday afternoon I happened upon these sweet high-waisted vintage watermelon colored Wranglers at the St. Vincent de Paul in Burbank . Best $4 ever spent. (Also got a pair of brand new J. Brand skinny jeans for $9. Must have been irregular stock?) This place is amazing. It's warehouse size and full of nifty tchotchkes and rooms of clothes for days. The lines are annoyingly long, but patience is a virtue, right? Here's the yelp review, but pay no attention to the naysayers:

Oh, plus the little vintage home decor store across the street is phenomenal. Prices are ridiculously low for some majorly cool prints and furniture. Just don't ignore that beware of dog sign on the house next to it. That dog is crazy.
